Kids Kabin in Walker

Kids Kabin was set up in 1994 when 3 nuns moved to Walker.  They started running arts and crafts activities from a small disused shop in a local shopping centre.  In 2002 Kids Kabin moved into a purpose built centre with the following specialist workshops:

  • Woodwork
  • Cookery
  • Pottery
  • Glasswork
  • Art
  • Drama, dance and music
  • Bike repairs
  • Sewing and fabric design
  • Gardening
  • Bike Spray painting.

Each year hundreds of children from the local community come along, take part in these activity workshops and turn ideas into reality.
