Project Worker, Middlesbrough

Hi I’m Steph  and I started working for Kids Kabin Middlesbrough in April 2022.

 

I have  a diploma in social work and have worked in a variety of settings including schools and with the charity, A Way Out, supporting young women.

​

I particularly enjoy creating things with wood and working with the children to create something positive they can be proud of.

 

I also enjoy taking things apart, finding out what's wrong and putting them back together again, so bike repair is one of my favourite sessions as it also teaches the kids how to keep their bikes in good order.

​

In my spare time I love being outdoors and exploring new and interesting places.
