Project Development Worker - Middlesbrough

About Kids Kabin:

  • We run creative and practical workshops in south and east Middlesbrough for seven to 13-year-olds.

  • We work closely with local partner charities and schools.

  • We work with more than 300 children and young people each year in Middlesbrough.

About the position:

  • You'll plan and run creative workshops

  • You'll lead delivery in some of our satellite neighbourhoods.

  • You'll work within a team of experienced project development workers and volunteers.

  • You'll work up to 25 hours a week over four or five days – with most workshops taking place after school.

  • You'll be paid based on a full-time equivalent salary of between £24,175 and £25,865 a year, depending on your experience and qualifications.

  • You'll get five weeks' holiday a year, plus public holidays (pro rata).

  • You'll receive a five per cent employer pension contribution and be able to take advantage of opportunities to progress.

  • Kids Kabin will cover the cost of safeguarding checks, including an Enhanced Disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).

 

First stage interviews are planned for Monday, February 12th, 2024 and the closing date for applications is Friday, February 2nd, 2024 at 5pm.
