A Kids Kabin trustee since 2010, Kath has been retired for 10 years. She was formerly Deputy Headteacher at Walker Technology College. Her relationship with education and local schools remains strong.  Kath is chair of governors for a local primary school attended by many current Kids Kabin members. Kath brings extensive experience of governance in education and in the voluntary and community sector. She also leads on Board level review of safeguarding policy and procedures.

As part of her overall responsibilities at Kids Kabin Kath has recently taken on a support role with another trustee, who together provide an enrichment programme for our volunteers. 

 

Kath loves to help out with our crafts and baking skills activities when the opportunity arises. She makes a mean Victoria Sponge!
