Young people across Byker and Walker will be getting a special delivery from Kids Kabin next week, as we put the finishing touches on our latest home activity kit.
As many of you know, bike maintenance is part of the work we do at Kids Kabin, both at our centre in Walker and out in the community. Cycling is also something lots of families are turning to to keep them active during lockdown.
So, we've partnered with Newcastle YMCA and Recyke Y' Bike to provide 25 home mechanics tool kits to young bike repairers who aren't able to access our workshops because of social distancing rules surrounding the Covid-19 pandemic.
We know our young mechanics have great skills, and we're chuffed we can supply these kits to help keep them on the road.
