At Kids Kabin, we believe in celebrating the beautiful mix of backgrounds, cultures, and stories that shape our community. Everyone who walks through our doors plays a part in making Kids Kabin the vibrant place it is.

The Diversity Wall project at our Walker Centre was born out of this spirit of inclusivity. We invited our staff, volunteers, and young people to draw self-portraits, each one a reflection of their individuality. Alongside the drawings, everyone also shared what makes them unique, wrote a word in the language they speak at home (from Kurdish to Swahili to Tagalog and more), and added words of encouragement. Our aim is simple: to make sure everyone who steps into Kids Kabin feels seen, valued and at home.

Our final display in our entrance -- "The World of Kids Kabin", captures the spirit of the community we work in. Many thanks for Ivan, our International Volunteer, for coming up with this project.
