Today we've been named one of 19 recipients of a Weston Charity Award nationally, and one of only five in the region!
This means that as well as receiving an unrestricted grant of £6,500 from the Garfield Weston Foundation to help us support our communities in the North East, we're due to begin Pilotlight 360 – a 10-month-long coaching and mentoring programme, to help us ensure the impact of that grant money can go even further.
One of more than 100 applicants for this year's awards, we are proud to be among such strong company alongside our fellow regional winners, First Stop Darlington, Linskill and North Tyneside Community Development Trust, Nepacs and Your Voice Counts; together, we support many hundreds of adults and young people experiencing deprivation, isolation, disability, ill health and stigma.
