Creativity at home catches on

Like many small charities, in 2020, the Covid-19 pandemic forced us to think about how we could best be useful to our members, their families, and the wider local communities of which we're part.

So, thanks to support from The Sage Foundation and many local volunteers, Kids Kabin@Home was born, with creativity kits delivered to nearby households in collaboration with partner primary schools for use during lockdown.

And while restrictions have now lifted, that doesn't mean creativity at home is no longer happening!

We were chuffed to bits to receive these photos from our friends at Tyneview Primary School, which recently put together some home woodworking kits so pupils and their families could get creative together.

The kids and parents from Year 4 made some amazing things. Well done to everyone involved!
