Our delivery
Our Workshops
Kids Kabin runs creative and practical workshops in the North East of England. Our main locations are Newcastle and Middlesbrough, and we also run workshops in Partnership in East Durham.
Newcastle
The main centre is in Newcastle, at Church Walk in Walker. At our centre, we have different activity rooms where we run after school workshops Monday to Fridays. We also run school workshops with some local schools in the area. Young people can try pottery, woodwork, arts and crafts, cooking, and even bike repairs. Thanks to our Kids Kabin van, we are able to have kids from Pottery Bank and Daisy Hill come to our Walker centre for after school sessions.
We also have sessions Cowgate and Byker, which run from St Peter’s Church Hall in Cowgate and in partnership with the Lighthouse Project in Byker.

In the warmer months between April and September, we have street workshops where we bring activities to kids in Walker, Orpington, Byker and Pottery Bank.
Middlesbrough
Since 2019, we have run workshops in Middlesbrough. Our workshops in Middlesbrough are delivered in a number of community venues, covering Grove Hill, Easterside, Breckon Hill, Linthorpe, Saltersgill and North Ormesby. Sessions happen after school, Monday to Friday, giving young people opportunities to try new things, learn new skills, and be creative.
East Durham
Since 2024, we have expanded our delivery into East Durham. We run creative workshops in partnership with Blackhall Community Centre and Easington Welcome Centre.
