Rickard Whittingham

Although Rickard has been a trustee at Kids Kabin since 2002, his connection with us goes back to the very beginning in 1994, first as a student volunteer and then as a project worker.

 

Currently a senior lecturer and course leader in 3D design at Northumbria University, Rickard specialises in furniture design and his research interests include investigating potential methods of facilitating the learning of woodwork in non-traditional workshop settings. He also brings to his role experience in publicity, marketing and promoting university-charity partnerships.
