Our purpose-built Church Walk premises is our main centre in Newcastle, where we run after-school workshops on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.

Our creative workshops include pottery, woodwork, arts and crafts, and bike repair. Schools local to Walker also take part in workshops that are specially designed for them.

We’ve also recently opened a new improved and extended kitchen and kids café area - find out more our news page!

Two groups of children and young people meet each week in a big, multi-purpose hall to enjoy woodwork, pottery, cookery, arts, crafts and games.

There's also a large garden area for outdoor activities, and we take mobile workshops out  onto the estate's streets.

Kids Kabin runs workshops on Monday afternoons and evenings from the Spires Lane Hobby room, and outdoors at both the Byker Garden and the green at Felton Walk.

Kids Kabin mechanics also provide street and doorstep workshops around Byker on Wednesday afternoons, teaching kids to fix their own bikes.  This is run in collaboration with Recyke y' Bike.

Kids Kabin works alongside the Byker Children and Young People’s Partnership to provide activities for as many children in the area as possible.
